Its hard to blog when you have two bloody kids!

It's been a long time since I have been in such a position.

I have nothing weird or strange, nothing controversial, no bullshit or banal banter. Nothing to write about Canadians or Americans being daft. No unusual photos or my own opinion on things that don't matter to anyone else but me - such as why a locked door would have a sign that says 'The entrance is 15 feet to your West' without any arrow or other indication which way is West. It took me a couple of seconds to locate North and work it out, but hey, I'm pretty good at that kinda stuff and a lot of people aren't.

Why not just have an arrow pointing to the right and saying - 'Entrance 15 feet'? But I suppose they were maybe trying to confuse people. Hey, ho life goes on.

Life definitely goes on in our house. Its so full of life sometimes, it is impossible to hear anything! Hannah listening to Stompy the bear or Run Baby run (when she listens to this, she actually runs, baby does she run, all around the house. Then the next verses, jump baby jump, spin baby spin and sing baby sing - are just mental. She spins, round and round and round - till she falls over! This is all followed by clap baby clap and the cutest verse - dance baby dance - she does all the moves!!! Heres the full song.

My favourite though is Stompy the bear  - this is just a good tune and of course   - Hannah likes to stomp around when this is on.. Its also got a really cool video..

Anyway - add that to Oliver crying or making noises cos he is hungry, me trying to tidy up after a Hannah whirlwind (or just running WITH her) and our house has never been so busy busy busy!

Oliver is doing really well though - even though he was a full pound lighter than Hannah at birth he has caught up with her weight. He is now the same weight she was at the same age - he drinks milk like a champ and has just started to look around and smile too!

Hannah was never a bad sleeper. We were very lucky with her and most nights were up just 2 or 3 times - well Oliver is completely different - at just a couple of weeks old he started to sleep from 11ish to 3 or 4am. Then go back down after a feed till about 6.30am. That has continued all the last few weeks and we are so happy that he needs just one feed through the night. I hope it doesn't annoy the other mums and dads out there but for us, it's just bloody amazing! He still gets us up with his weird baby croaks and wheezes, but to get 6-7 hours good sleep a night is amazing!

He is also taking to a bottle much much better than Hannah did - To be honest its probably that we had so much practice with here before getting it right - we are better at all getting him to sleep and feeding that we were when we were first-time parents with Hannah.

Here's a few photos of the little fella doing what he does best!

I am currently sitting on my bed, typing one-handed as O sleeps in my other arm. He is currently snoring away, which I hope will last. (it didn't)

Because of the awkwardness, I will complete this update by photo and video. Enjoy looking and watching and trying to work out what's going on!!

Yes that is me having my makeup done by Hanny! She is with a baby cow and this really is it for now.
