Some videos aren't showing up on the blog when viewed on cellphones. So I have added links to watch them in youtube. Just click a link if you see one....thanks
Another 7 days, 168 hours and 2 changes of underwear have passed by. Nothing much has happened.
Except....
We were giving Hannah a bath the other day and we saw that the Rubber duckies, the crocodile, Unicorn and other bathtime animals were looking a little shabby. On closer inspection, the shabby grey colour we were seeing was not on the outside of the rubberised children's pet replicas, but actually on the inside. Turns out that these small rubber beings, just like us humans at the moment, are wonderful harbours for all kinds of infection or disorder. The fact that they have a simulated bumhole, that kids just love to suck water in to and squeeze out all over their unsuspecting parents. means that these toys are actually voids of death and can easily fill with sludge, slime and ooze of non-descript persuasion.
So after Hannahs bath, I spent the next short time in my ever-decreasing period left on this planet, sucking water-diluted bleach up into the bowels of the various cutesy looking creatures and then crushing the bejeezus out of them so that the ever cleaner juice was swiftly eliminated from their behinds.
After the bleach it was the turn of soapy water - a very gentle colon cleanse for these tiny brutes, so that sometime very soon our very own tiny creatures can again splash, squeeze and drown these bathtime favourites without the need to wear a mask, disinfect hands or worry about drinking the bathwater...
In work it has been continuing to be busy, I don't talk a lot about this because, it s boring as shite, but I did one quite neat install and started another install with the absolute worst cabling I have ever seen that to try and sort out. No names but here's a couple of pics...
Hopefully, you can tell which one I did and which one I have to sort out.
The build for this year's ice thing has begun. I took advantage of the warm weather and hoped that the rain and temperatures didn't hamper or destroy things. Luckily, it seems that it's going to be ok, as it started to get colder now and I have made good headway...
The Christmas tree went up last week too and Hanny was very happy to help. If by helping you mean putting all the decorations on the tree and then removing all the decorations from the tree again.Silly child.
Oliver is now 3 months old. Still growing obviously as if a 3-month-old stopped growing it would be a bit weird. He is smiling a lot more and has the faintest hint of a giggle every now and then. He also asked me to start baby balancing so we did. Buffy did a great job of his 3-month photo...we just wish he would sleep a little more at night! Here's some pics with the monthly phots in order to see how he is growing.
