100,000 and a new beginning?

Hello, to you  - yes, you! - Whether you are sitting drinking coffee, sat in bed or on the 'throne' while you are reading this, I mean you! Hello!!!!!

Also, thank you! Thank you for once again clicking the button, typing the address or following the link to this page. Because, now you have done so you are one of the 100,000 people who have looked at this ridiculous blog.

I know that of the 100,000 views, there are in reality, just a few people who have actually looked thousands of times each at this page and there aren't 100,000 separate people -  But I like to imagine a huge football stadium full of strange human beings permanently logged onto this web page holding onto every monotonous letter I type - desperate for the next update. So again, thank you for adding to the number of views and after 7 years of the blog making the total 100,000!

Its weird being able to see how many times people have logged onto this page and also where they are all from. I would imagine that the majority of people would be from UK or Canada, plus a few views from Australia and Dubai, based on where me and Buffs friends and family are. But surprisingly the most views, almost half in fact - are from the USA. With just19,000 from UK and nearly 9000 from Canada. But just who the 2500 Russians and 800 Ukrainians are I don't know. (If you are from there, why not get in touch and say Здравствуйте.

 I can also see which posts are the most read. I would think the top one would be about some amazing place we travelled to - But it is in fact a post from March 2016 titled,  'My eyes, my brain, my glasses  - My arse!' . That tells about when I failed to get laser eye surgery and spoke a little about Jim Royale, from the Royal Family  - a unique and brilliant TV program from the UK. Its a good post, but I have written better.

I just wanted to say thank you again and to let you know that the blog will continue for now and the future - But - as I am sure you know by now - me and Buff are having a baby in July and so I am thinking about maybe renaming the blog to take this 'life update' into consideration. Ricks extra long summer was based around me gallivanting around the world for a few years and now those times are well and truly behind us for the time being.

I don't know what to call the blog to reflect the changes, but would welcome some ideas if you have any. So comment on here or on Facebook if you have any ideas please! I promise the blog wont be all about the kid, but its probably going to get a mention every now and then. I don't want to talk about nothing but a baby.

How about these as a new heading?-

Anyway, that's it for today - Its a lazy Sunday afternoon and we are off for dinner to English place soon, so I had better get dressed - Yes, I sometimes wrote my blog naked. But as I know you probably read it naked that's OK isn't it!?!?
